SDHC (SD High Capacity) is the latest format in SD cards, designed to support capacities of up to 32 GB. For use in high tech devices such as video cameras, the cards offer both high speed and high capacity storage. Note: SDHC cards can only be used by devices supporting the SDHC format.
There are 3 classes of SDHC cards defined by the speed of a card:
- Class 2: 2 MB/s
- Class 4: 4 MB/s
- Class 6: 6 MB/s
Digitex produce the two most popular Classes: 2 and 6.
